Need some bubble tea love? Head down to Daboba for their roasted brown sugar pearl with fresh milk delight. It wasn’t tea, but it sure as hell packs a powerful satisfaction punch.
Brown sugar pearls, brown sugar syrup glazing the inner sides of the cup, ice, fresh milk, and a generous scoop of their delightful creamy cheese.
Brown sugar powder was haphazardly sprinkled all over the top, followed by scorching using a butane torch. It was almost like having a crème brulee in a cup. ^^
The pearls were big but chewy, while the cheese cream and fresh milk married marvellously together with the brown sugar syrup.
The defining ingredient was definitely the caramelized brown sugar. The scorching accentuated its taste and texture, providing its special characteristics.
In conclusion, brown sugar was everywhere, which guaranteed a sweet ol’ sweet dessert. This cup of happiness cost $5.60 and it is definitely worth every drop.
