Had the chance to dine at Beauty in the pot and had their Super value lunch sets at Vivocity. Lets dive into what we had at BITP for this hotpot food review.
We got their lunch set menu C which was sufficient for 5pax, at $75. It consisted of sliced pork collars, sliced chicken thighs, pork and chive dumplings 5 pieces, soft bone pork meat ball 5 pieces, fish paste which was fantastic, black fungus, chinese cabbage, iced tofu, sliced potato, la mian of 3 bundles. We also got their lunch set menu D which was sufficient for 5pax, at $108. It consisted of US kurobuta pork, nagano pork belly, sliced chicken thigh, alaskan crab stick 5 pieces, prawn dumplings 5 pieces, cheesy chicken balls 5 pieces, dried scallop fish paste, drumstick mushroom, chinese cabbage, la mian of 3 bundles.
For our soup base, we had BITP Beauty Collagen & Spicy Nourishing Broth which seems to be their popular items, particularly their collagen soup. It was slightly salty, greasy but easy on the palates, and had a beautiful aroma and alluring after taste. Spicy nourishing broth was medium spicy and went lovingly with most of the items.
Some of the more notably items on the menu were probably their dried scallop fish paste, which were springy and flavourful, prawn dumplings were plump and full of texture, and the cheesy chicken balls which had its cheese fillings bursting out.
We had some extra add-ons, such as Hokkaido Scallop 1/2 at $13.80, Red leg prawn 1/2 at $15, and Toman fish full at $19.60. These were premium items, came in small quantities which were we were begging for more, and tasted incredibly fresh.
Service were impeccable and at its finest, helpful and friendly, swift and efficient. The staff were always there whenever we needed help.
Their super value lunch sets are only available at The Star Vista & VivoCity outlets, and from Mondays to Fridays only.
With such pricing and quality of food, Beauty in The Pot is definitely worth the spend and highly recommended.
