What to eat at Xixiang Kaya Kopitiam chain? We take a look at their keluak curry chicken with ramie leaf rice in this food review.
Rice shaped into a pyramid figure, taste wasn’t particularly distinct with ramie leaf, but had a subtle herby sweetness aroma. Light but ample.
Keluak curry was amazingly rich, deep and fragrantly perfumed, perhaps overtly salty but coupled well with the fluffy rice. Chicken thigh was tender sufficiently seasoned.
On the sides was an egg, halved, and some acar, or pickeld vegetables.
Service and attitude were great, with the staff being friendly, eager to explain and recommend what they had on their menu, and its space was clean and bright.
At $12.90 a plate, Xixiang Kaya Kopitiam’s Keluak Curry Chicken with Ramie Leaf Rice is probably alittle overpriced with its offerings, but definitely filling.
