Serving up yummilicious prawn noodles, Traditional Famous Prawn Mee at Ang Mo Kio 338 offers lor mee as an alternative as well in this food review.
Presentation was spot on, with minced garlic and chopped chili padi on top, deep fried fish chunks and thick braised pork slices.
The two deep fried fish chunks were flaky and savoury on the inside and crispy on the outside. Braised pork slices were generously given, thick and tenderlicious, with intense flavour immersed within.
Noodles were soaked within a luscious and laboriously made think gravy full of egg flakes and perfumed fragrance. With the addition of black vinegar, it was accentuating and irresistable.
At $4 a bowl, Traditional Famous Prawn Mee’s lor mee was packed with quality ingredients, appetite stimulating and filling. Definitely recommended.
