What to eat at Ajisen Ramen? YumzYumz tried out their mori ramen, which consist of 3 types of pork within their usual pork broth and noodles. Here is our food review of their mori ramen.

Starting with their usuals were their perfectly blanched ramen noodles and crunchy bean sprouts, submerged in their flavourful pork broth. And of course a halved ajitsuke tamago, with a custardy yolk.

For Ajisen’s Mori Ramen, it consists of 3 types of pork: shabu shabu pork, 1 chashu, and 1 nankotsu.

Nankotsu, or tender pork soft bone slow-cooked to gelatinous state, was huge and its tenderized flesh fell off its soft bone as it was held up. The single slice of chashu and shabu strips were tender and almost melts in the mouth.

At $13 for an ala carte or $16.90 for a set, Ajisen Ramen’s Mori Ramen is one that we highly recommend. It was filling and full of flavour and texture. Yummy!
