Craving for black pepper crabs and thinking where to get then? We headed down to JUMBO Seafood at Dempsey for this black pepper crab food review.
Flesh of crabs were impeccably sweet and soft, with the firmness that is associated with freshness. The black pepper sauce mix tasted heavenly, with a well balanced and harmonizing mix of buttery indulgence and peppery sensation. Pepper presence wasn’t overtly covering the sweetness of the crabs, while having the creamy butter fragrance elevating the umami flavour.
Pricing starts from $9.80 per 100grams for below 1kg, and $10.80 per 100grams for 1kg and above.
Our order came at 1 and half crabs, which was about 1.2kg, and it was about $200 a plate.
At such a pricing at a restaurant for their signature black pepper crabs and amazing quality, it is definitely one item we would recommend if budget permits. ^^
