Along with their awesome wanton noodles, we tried out Huang Ji’s dumpling soup for this dumpling soup food review.
Huang Ji’s dumpling soup is usually sold out quite early into the afternoon as they are really that good and they do not make many of the dumplings. An order consisted of 5 pieces at $5 a bowl. So each piece was technically $1 a pop. And each dumpling was huge! Its filling was almost bursting out, filled with various stuff like marinated minced pork, turnip, and veggies. They were crunchy, savoury, full-bodied and definitely laboriously made and wrapped in silky skin. Soup was the usual broth that they use for their lovely wantons and noodles. A huge chunk of soften white radish was accompanied along with the 5 giant sized dumplings.
Slightly pricey but definitely yummilicious dumplings to go along with Huang Ji’s wanton noodles.
