Food delivery just ain’t the same as dine-in, particularly for quality food such as items from Din Tai Fung. YumzYumz got their zha jiang mian for dinner and here is how it was.
Simple dish with well blanched noodles that were silky and soft, holds zha jiang mian’s key ingredient sauce well.
It’s zha jiang mian bean sauce was thick and savoury, containing tiny firm beancurd bits and tender minced pork. To add some flair, edamame beans were thrown into the mix, and topped off with chopped spring onions.
At $9.80, Din Tai Fung’s zha jiang mian was flavourful and appetising.
