Famous cafe at Bukit Timah, diagonally opposite Adam Road Food Centre, we made our Atlas Coffeehouse visit and had their Wurst Rosti for this food review.

This dish consists of a crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside potato rosti, savoury and satisfying. Placed on top were 2 sunny side up eggs, crisp on the edges while retaining a gooey lovely egg yolk. Stated on their menu to be organic, but honestly, they taste the same as any other good eggs. On the side was a huge cheese frank or sausage, juicy and filling. Finally a saucer of tomato chutney, rich and deep flavoured tomato puree, sweet with hints of heat and smokey flavour. It coupled nicely with the eggs and rosti. Stated on their menu was a “bacon fennel pan sauce”, which for some reason wasn’t present on our plate. Nevertheless, we didn’t enquire about it as we were too busy digging in.

At $24.60, their cheese sausage with potato rosti and eggs were somewhat pricey for such a simple dish.
