What to eat at Da Xi besides their dumplings? We try out their Taiwanese lu rou fan, or braised meat rice for this food review.
Comes in a small bowl, rice was topped with gravy and tenderlicious braised pork. Savoury and rich in flavour. Each piece of meat had a well balanced ratio of fat and meat, giving each bite a nice combination along with the rice. However, portion was small and somewhat insufficient for us.
At $5.80, Da Xi’s Taiwanese lu rou fan was fragrant and yummy with quality, but definitely not for one looking for quantity.
