Located within Bishan food junction, Manfook Hong Kong Roast Meat spans across with a welcoming cool dark signboard, with their gloriously roasted meat hanging on display. We tried out their signature soy chicken with noodles and shrimp dumplings.
Attitude and mannerism were friendly and swift in order taking. Chicken flesh were extremely tender, subtly seasoned with their gorgeously prepared sauce, seeping into the flesh. Skin of chicken were slightly sweet and savoury, silky smooth and springy. Noodles were well blanched, soaking up their amazing sauce.
On the side we had their shrimp dumplings, which came in a pair. They were plump, meaty, and packs a good bite.
Finally, they had their own type of chili, which was gritty, full of bits and pieces of caramalized chili. It coupled really nicely with the noodles.
At the price of $7.50 for this whole set, it was a nice treat of good food from Manfook Hong Kong Roast Meat. ^^
