Deep deep intense mutton soup at Bukit Timah at $5 a bowl, and 50 cents for a bowl of rice to go along with the comforting bowl of goodness.
The meat were so soft, it almost melts in the mouth. Bones glide down and separating any meat that was previously on.
Although you will find lots of ginger in the soup, which is to cover up the gamey taste from the mutton, there will still be the aromatic mutton flavour. In fact, when you enter the hawker centre, one of the many aromas you will sense first will be from this stall. Although we believe it is not to everyone’s preference, it is definitely something everyone should try at least once.
