What do you get for a $6.80 of porridge? A gigantic bowl of goodness that is sure to perk up your day.
Not only did we got four small lobsters stuffed into the humongous bowl of porridge, there was a generous scoop of fried crispy silver fish to add texture. The porridge was dense, almost tasteless but yet addictive to every mouthful. The large scoop of chopped scallions, drips of garlic oil adds immense flavour to the porridge.
With the soft boiled egg added, the gooey egg yolk created a dance of happiness together with the already awesome concoction. This is certainly a well thought through dish, and to add on, you get the usual crispy mochi dessert and deep flavoured clam miso soup.
$6.80 may be way too expensive for a bowl of normal porridge, it wasn’t in this case as you get way more than what you paid for. In fact, it was so much, it sure as hell was enough to feed two people with the generous quantity we got. Yummy!
