What to eat at Jewel? How about trying out Tai Er? With over 300 over outlets in China, it has become a recognized brand. Opening their outlet in Jewel Changi Airport, we tried out their Sichuan dan dan noodles in this food review.

Portion was small and definitely not sufficient to fill one’s tummy. But its quality was somewhat exceptional. Not overtly spicy, with a variety of texture thrown into the mix. Chopped spring onions, savoury well marinated and tender minced pork, crunchy dried veggies, and crushed peanuts. Noodles were amazingly springy and worthy of any noodles master standards.

Ambience and service was good and comfortable. Read more about their service here.

At $9 a plate saucer, quantity was definitely underwhelming, but this Sichuan dan dan noodles was definitely bursting with flavour and texture.
