Fancy some crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside fried dumplings, or guo tie (鍋貼)? You have to try Dong Ji La Mian Xiao Long Bao at ABC Brickworks.
First off, the person tending to the shop was really friendly and helpful in recommendation and explanation of their items.
Next, the skin of the dumplings were crispy on the outside, and chewy as it goes inwards.
For $6 per 10 pieces, each dumpling was amazing plump, with squirting juicy fillings. meat and veggies packed to the brim, with juice squirting and dripping out.
Flavour was exceptionally intricate and intense, with the pork and scallions mixing harmoniously. Oh, and we found out guo ties, or pan-fried dumplings are also known as pot stickers. ^^
