Located within Clementi 448 Market & Food Centre, this particular stall which doesn’t have a distinctive stall name, offers aromatic and thick sesame oil chicken. YumzYumz gave it a try and this is our food review of it.
The gravy was generously given, extremely rich and most suitable to enjoy with a bowl of steaming rice. Thick and rich with black vinegar and sesame oil, and with the added chinese celery to heighten its taste. The chicken pieces were extremely tender and meaty, dripping with all the goodness soaked from the luscious deep gravy. We added a braised egg but sadly, it was comparable to rock hard texture and not recommended.
Priced at $4.50 a serving, their sesame oil chicken was savoury and delicious, but will do good if there were slightly more meat to it. At $0.70 an egg, we recommend not considering adding their egg.
