What to eat at Jewel? How about trying out Tai Er? With over 300 over outlets in China, it has become a recognized brand. Opening their outlet in Jewel Changi Airport, we tried out their Sauerkraut Beef Noodles 酸菜牛肉面 in this food review.

By far one of the best tasting item we had at Tai Er, their sauerkraut beef noodles was tasty and satisfying.

Juicy and tender beef slices, thoroughly marinated to a point where it almost melts in the mouth. Sandwiched between chopped spring onions and sauerkraut, the beef slices were totally enjoyable. Noodles were springy and mouthful, similarly to their Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles. Soup or gravy base was somewhat similar to their Chinese Sauerkraut Fish, but much lesser grease, creamier, and savoury, complimenting their noodles.

At $10 a saucer, portion may be lacking, but Tai Er’s Sauerkraut Beef Noodles 酸菜牛肉面 was definitely yummilicious and recommended.
