What to eat in Ang Mo Kio? Looking for roasted duck noodles? We take a look at this stall at amk block 532 duck noodles and here is our food review of it.
Simple plating, with a bundle of mundane nicely blanched noodles in a shallow pool of greasy sauce, made up of their special gravy and pork lard, deep and savoury, subtly sweet. Veggies were a chopped up mess on the side, offering the crunchy texture on an overall view.
Next was their main item, their roasted duck. Fat to lean meat ratio was superb, with the fat juice complementing the tender lean meat. Skin was greasy, slightly crisp, with layers of fats underneath. The taste of the flesh and skin were infused deeply with their herbal mix, probably predominantly of dang gui as stated on their menu.
Quantity of meat was fabulous and generous, nicely proportionate to the noodles.
The auntie taking orders and yelping orders to the staff in the stall was somewhat offputting. Luckily, their food was good, we didn’t get told off by her, so pang chance alittle. ^^
At $4.50 a plate, 777 HK Traditional Roasted Delights’ roasted duck noodles is one filled with taste, texture, and fills the tummy with yummilicious duck and noodles. Recommended!
