YumzYumz head down to Old Airport Road Food Centre during Phase 2 Heightened Alert dabao period. We decided to try Albert Street Prawn Noodles and here is our food review of it.

It tasted marvelous even though it was a takeaway. But it would definitely taste better if we had it there.

Soup was amazingly deep and infused with prawn umami goodness, perfumed with prawn fragrance.

Presence of sweet prawn head butter in the aromatic soup, lingers in every mouthful.

There were 6 halved fresh and springy prawns, which was pretty generous.

But the fried pork lard were sadly soggy and not appetizing, probably thrown into the soup during packing.

Albert Street Prawn Noodles’ soup base is definitely comparable to Beach Road Prawn Mee‘s version.

It cost $5.50 for a bowl of irresistible prawn noodles at Old Airport Road Food Centre, which YumzYumz recommends. ^^
