Craving for some hawker style aglio olio, we visited Master Chippy’s Toa Payoh outlet. Although famous for their fish and chips, we tried out their prawn aglio olio for this food review.
Pasta was rather dry and begging for more seasoning, covered with tons of parsley and herbs. On the side was a dash of parmesan cheese that helped alittle, but still way too dry… Next were the prawns, crunchy and savoury, delectable and appetizing. Finally, a heap of savoury crispy crunchy deep fried stuff that coupled nicely with the pasta.
At $8.50 a plate, Master Chippy’s Prawn Aglio Olio was perhaps filling with loads of prawns given, but quality satisfactory at best.
