Located along Pasir Panjang and at the corner of shop houses, YumzYumz tried out pad thai and tom yum soup from E-Sarn Thai Cuisine.

Stir fried Thai style fried flat rice noodle, taste was subtly zesty, with hints of spiciness. Chewy and full of texture from the chives and beansprouts. Stir fried eggs gave the additional eggy taste that elevated its flavour. However, pad thai should be sweet, savoury and this had the lack of sweetness.

Chicken were chunky, but dry and tough. Toufu cubes were springy and mouthful.

At $8.50, this pad thai is definitely not the best we had, but still acceptable.

The additional $2 we had for tom yum soup, was probably a better item than the main.

It was sourish and spicy, hitting every note with precision. There were a genrous amount of squid and prawns to go along. Yummilicious!

In summary, a total of $10.50 for a pad thai, a drink and a hearty bowl of soup, was definitely worth it.
