Used to be at Ang Mo Kio (hence the name), we just had to give these puffs a go, to find out if they were really indeed what they were used to be.
The curry puff skin was thick, crispy and most importantly, doesn’t felt oily. It’s filling of curry potato cubs, a slice of egg and some tiny chunks of chicken were slightly spicy and sweet, complimenting well with its aromatic crust.
It used to be 40cents (from a long long time ago), and now it is $1.60 a pop. Tasted still as great even with the increased price and change of stall name. Tip top curry puff used to taste this good.
