A decent tasting Nasi Biryani with Fried Chicken in the heart of Ang Mo Kio Central. It is located right outside of AMK Hub. The basmati rice was alright, nothing worth shouting out for. The curry is the thick chicken curry that is used for their roti prata as well.
Their fried chicken has a sweet and savory taste, as what you will find in most other Indian stalls selling Nasi Biryani. One thing to note was the way the chicken was handled. To ensure it is thoroughly cooked through, they cut a cross section on the precooked chicken, and deep fried again. This ensures you get an oil drenched chicken that is still not half alive on your basmati rice.
Nonetheless, at $6.50 a plate, the portion was huge and extremely filling.
