Famous cafe at Bukit Timah, diagonally opposite Adam Road Food Centre, we made our Atlas Coffeehouse visit and had their mushroom bacon carbonara for this food review.
Served on a huge plate with an enormous portion, there were tons of shimeji and bacon strewn on top. Bacon were gorgeously crisp and married beautifully with the smokey mushrooms which were crunchy and juicy. The star had got to be their amazing umami cream sauce, with exploding emulsifying and perfumed fragrance. Topped with shaved parmesan cheese and a gooey egg yolk, it was easily one of the best carbonara we had so far.
Portion was definitely generous with lots of ingredients, along with their exceptional and friendly service.
At $22 a plate, Atlas Coffeehouse’s Mushroom Bacon Carbonara was simply satisfying and delectable, worthy any pasta lover.
