Located right at the front of Cheng San Hawker Centre and with only chinese characters for its stall name, YumzYumz tried Teochew Mee Pok And Fish Ball Noodles’s minced meat noodles with prawns and here is our food review of it.
Topped with tons of ingredients, the noodles were hardly visible. The way it was plated, it was immensely inviting. Some spring onions as garnish, spoonful of tender peppery minced meat was in every mouthful of deliciously blanched noodles. Bits of ti poh (dried sole fish) were in the well mixed standard noodle sauce, brining out the very best taste. There were thick pieces of tenderlicious pork liver, pork slices, and a mundane commercially made meatball. Lastly among the sea of ingredients were 2 crunchy prawns, although they looked slightly pale, but still a delightful addition to an already satisfying bowl of noodle goodness.
At $4, it was definitely worth every cent spent. With such generous amount of noodles and ingredients, Teochew Mee Pok And Fish Ball Noodles’s Minced Meat Noodles with Prawns is definitely a yummilicious choice whenever you are at Cheng San Hawker Centre.
