Are you looking for chewy and bouncy rice cakes with savoury cai poh? Kovan Chwee Kueh gives you just that. At a minimum of 4 pieces at $1.20, it is an excellent side dish for any kind of mains of your choice.
We got our fix with 5 pieces at $1.50, and an additional scope of cai poh at 20 cents, and it was worth it.
Comparing with Bedok’s chwee kueh, which one will you prefer?
Our choice is definitely Bedok’s chwee kueh as it packs alittle more crunch on the cai poh, and their rice cakes are alittle lighter.
Nevertheless, Kovan Chwee Kueh is still yummy and worth the calories.
