Its Mcdonalds new burger again! This time is Korean sweet & spicy sauce, Jjang Jjang burger! It comes with either beef or chicken, and we went for the crispy chicken version for this food review.
For $9.55, we got a yuzu drink, fries and a Jjang Jjang burger with soft buns like their fillet o fish burger. Stuffed within were some lettuce, thick slice of tomato, and a thick thick deep fried juicy chicken patty, covered dripping with their Jjang Jjang sauce. It was sweet, and subtly spicy, and very thick and sticky. Not as spicy as McSpicy, but still had a good level of shiokness to it.
In fact, the sauce was EVERYWHERE the moment we opened the wrapping. Simply put, it was a mess. It was a messy burger but tasty. If you ever had Korean style deep fried chicken, this is definitely a great rendition of it.
Definitely recommended for any Korean fried chicken or McDonalds fans. ^^
