Craving for some hawker style beef steak, and where else to go but the famous Wow Wow West at ABC Brickworks. Lets take a look at how their beef steak fares in this food review.
Drizzled generously on top was their brown sauce, slightly peppery but thick and glazed nicely on the steak. As usual, we had our beef steak as medium rare, and it was done really nicely. It was exceptionally tender, probably alittle too tender, perhaps with too much of tenderizer. But nevertheless, it was grilled amazingly well, crisp on bits and notches on the outside, while juicy and delicious on the inside. Portion was palm sized huge and satisfying. The usuals on the sides were chunky fries, baked beans, and worth mentioning was their refreshing coleslaw.
At $9 a plate, Wow Wow West Genuine’s beef steak is definitely worth every dollar in terms of quality and quantity.
