Which satay stall to choose when in chomp chomp? We chose the one with the most basic and rustic signage that shouts SATAY for this satay food review.

Offering a selection of chicken, mutton or pork at 70cents each, with their pineapple peanut sauce. Chicken was tender and savoury, beautifully charred. Mutton was tough but nicely marinated and caramelized charring. The pork skewers were the best, with perfect ratio of fats to meat, tender and juicy, beautifully charred. Skewer portion was ample and acceptable. Rice cake (ketupat) was quite a disappointingly tough. Pineapple sauce was sweet and had an array of texture within. From the crunchy peanut bits to gooey and flurry pineapple zing, every deep was a joy and we cant get enough of it.

At such pricing and portion, with friendly stall owners and delicious pineapple sauce, it was a satisfying and enjoyable side dish at chomp chomp.
