Located in an Ang Mo Kio coffeeshop, this Bak Chor Mee stall operates under the shadow of another popular stall, making it less noticeable to customers.
Their signature dish, the Bak Chor Mee, is reasonably priced at $3.50. Despite the slow business, the cook seemed to be in a bad mood while taking our order. Nonetheless, we were eager to try out their food.
We were surprised by the smaller bowl size, as it is uncommon for Mince Pork Noodles to be served in such a small bowl, especially at a hawker stall. However, the taste of the food was far from impressive.
The fishballs and fishcakes were just regular items found in any supermarket, boiled and sliced up. The minced pork lacked flavor, and the braised mushrooms were average. Additionally, the noodles were overcooked and too soft. The sauce was nothing out of the ordinary.
