Who wouldn’t be tempted to get this delicious looking lobster meal, where it can be easily accessible at our friendly IKEA restaurant. The advertising image certainly made it look extremely delish!
The laksa spaghetti noodles tasted great. The laksa sauce was mildly spicy, with the essential spices added, coconut milk was added to the right consistency, and mixing well with the pasta. Tasty and delectable.
The same cant be spoken for the halved boston lobster. Its tail flesh was tough, rubbery, and could easily be passed off as an eraser. Its tomalley, or the stuff in the head, was full of grainy sandy stuff. It was repulsive and disgusting. This was supposed to be the most flavorful part of the lobster, yet to reach this level of odious was certainly unthinkable. Thankfully, its flesh within its claw was soft and easy on the palate. It was almost like a rollercoaster ride tackling this halved lobster.

At $16.50 for IKEA’s halved lobster with laksa pasta, it was certainly not a pleasant experience for us, with all the gunk we had in our mouth from the tomalley.
