Snuggly nested along Beach Road, Prince Coffee House has been along for decades, with all their nostalgic photographs of past Hong Kong celebrities. YumzYumz tried out their grilled pork chop and here is our food review of it.
2 palmed sized slabs of grilled pork chops, ladled generously with thick creamy mushroom sauce. Surface of the pork chops were charred nicely and caramelized. Nice ratio of fats vs lean meat, providing a nice bite in every mouthful. However, the lean portions were too tough for our liking, but the taste was good though.
Greens on the sides were a unique combination of long beans cabbage and carrots, as well as the usual thick french fries.
At $14.50 a plate, it was suffice to say their pork chops served its purpose of filling the tummy, but probably not to the extent of mind blowing.
