Still no dining out, we ordered from COLLIN’S grilled chicken chop, and here is our food review.
Amazingly tender chicken thigh, charred and grilled to perfection. This is how chicken chops should be done, crispy tasty skin, with tenderlicious yet packs a bite to every mouthful. It was definitely pleasantly salty, which is how proteins should be treated.
Corn was juicy, and carried a subtle saltish and sweet taste, not overtly cooked.
Aglio olio was sadly way too dry, perhaps due to delivery time, and taste was begging for more flavour.
Greens were fresh and crunchy, with sweet sourish vinaigrette dressing.
Finally, COLLIN’S lovely truffle mushroom soup, made with button mushrooms, truffle oil, fresh cream and croutons (these were in their menu description). A note thought that croutons should be packed separately instead of them them swimming in the soup all the way during delivery.
Together with their signature roasted BBQ ribs (1/2 slab) as one of their special of the day, it cost $22.42, which is definitely worth it compared to dining in. Tasty, yummilicious, and filling, great for working from home. ^^
