Where to get “Orh Jian” or ”Orh Luak” in the west of Singapore? To pair off our Boon Lay Power nasi lemak, we had a side dish of oyster omelette for this food review.

Fried oyster omelette at Ghee Huat was surprisingly uplifting and packed powerful punch. Flavour was rich and deep, full of wok hey aroma. It had crispy texture on most part of its egg mixture, gooey and squishy mixed into every crevice. Oysters were plump and juicy, emulsifying the already effusive fried omelette. Not overtly greasy, but you cant expect fried oyster omelette to be a healthy dish ya. ^^. To elevate its flavour further, their runny yet zesty and spicy chili sauce was not to be left out. We order their $6.50 large order size and it was ample and satisfying.

Fried oyster omelette with intense wok hey and flavour at Ghee Huat is one side dish you should try at Boon Lay market.
