We had a quick meal of fried chicken nasi briyani at Al Habib Muslim Food, Yishun Northpoint Bizhub. Here is our humble review of what we thought of it.
First of all, the portion of rice given was humongous, enough for 3 pax lunch. However, that was just about what was nice about this meal. Rice wasn’t the fluffiest we had, probably been cooked quite awhile back. Fried chicken was probably killed thrice or even 4 folds, as it was totally dry on the inside and crispy on the outside due to deep-frying too many times.
A hard-boiled egg was given and honestly, it was as rubbery as any eraser you can find in a stationary shop. Yikes…..
Pickled veggies on the sides were cold and definitely unappetizing.
Finally, a bunch of papadam crumbs were provided, which were totally flat and nasty.
In a nutshell, at $6.50, it may fill the stomach, but not the soul. Totally disappointed.
