What healthy food to eat around Fusionopolis? Fish soup noodles perhaps? We chanced upon The Brake Kitchen and tried our their fishsoup noodles for this food review.

The soup base was impeccably stewed to a sweet and delectable broth, full-bodied and delightful. The forefront flavour that we got were umami sweetness, and sourish punch from the salted vegetables. Cabbages and bitter gourd slices were crunchy and balanced the texture of the noodles and fish chunks.

Fish chunks were generously given, with firm and well marinated flesh, savoury and sublty sweet with hints of pepper. Other goodness within were tofu cubes and tomatoes which provided their own wonderful taste.

The huge bowl seemed like a huge mess, served with no plating in mind, but tasted marvelously. Service was fantastic, attentive, swift and full of smiles.

At $12.90 a bowl, The Brake Kitchen’s fish soup noodles has fantastic quantity and excellent quality, which we highly recommend for anyone in the area to give it a try.
