Crispy fish and chips at Ang Mo Kio by Steakgrill Steak House, let’s break it down on how we felt about their fish and chips version.
Exterior was extremely crunchy and had a subtle taste to it, probably from their marvelous batter which they states in their menu as their Signature, and not overtly oily.
Fish was flaky and tasted so lovely, went really well with its amazing crispy crust. A well combination of texture and flavour.
The usual french fries and some greens were served on the sides, together with a cup of tartar sauce to go along with the fried fish.
For $15 a plate of fish and chips, quantity was somewhat underwhelming, but quality was definitely great.
