Snuggly nested along Beach Road, Prince Coffee House has been along for decades, with all their nostalgic photographs of past Hong Kong celebrities. YumzYumz tried out their fish and chips and here is our food review of it.
Two medium sized fried fish patties served along with a handful of the usual french fries, and a bunch of greens.
Fried fish was ample in thickness, flaky and savoury, but were somewhat overtly greasy. Greens on the sides were unique, different from the usual coleslaw, probably a version from the bygone era.
In totality, nothing out of the norm, simply and straight forward fried fish. Service provided was absolutely warming, attentive and friendly. Ambience of the whole eatery was cosy and inviting.
At $14.50, Prince Coffee House 太子咖啡座 fish and chips was simple and mundane but probably over priced with their offering.
