Smacked right in the middle of Bishan Park, Grub offers some of the nicest all day breakfast, and offering nice and quiet ambience. YumzYumz gave Grub a visit on a hot sunny Sunday and this is our food review of their English Breakfast Plate.
Garlic ciabatta was fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside, crunchy buttery garlicy. Their scrambled eggs were soft and creamy, lightly salted, and was really filling to the tummy. Chunky sliced grilled tomatoes were so sweet and smokey, it was a delightful combination with the baked beans.
Lastly, thick and tasty brown sauce, together with meaty sliced mushrooms was served on top of a meaty savoury grilled pork patty, dense nd packs a nice bite to it.
Brunch plate is available only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 9am to 5pm.
Priced at $15 a plate, with the variety of ingredients and top quality, it was a filling and pleasant plate of Singapore style English Breakfast.
