Thinking of what to eat at One Punggol? One Punggol opened its doors on 31st October, with plenty of food choices on the 2nd floor hawker centre. Airy and spacious with plenty of seats, we chose to go with Eng Kee Chicken Wings for this food review.
Popular fried chicken wings at One Punggol, we noticed that customers were ordering Eng Kee’s fried chicken wings in dozens. They do sell noodles and beehoon, with the usual economic beehoon style ingredients for add-ons. But their star attraction was their crispy and aromatic fried chicken wings. The skin had a rich and intense flavour, deeply marinated into every crevices. Greasiness is a must for fried chicken wings, yet not giving the jelat feeling. Flesh was rather tender and juicy. But the attraction definitely lays in its beautiful crisp chicken skin. Not the KFC finger licking good spice type, but intense and mellow accentuating satisfaction. Along with their fried noodles and otah which were nothing out of the norm, Eng Kee’s fried chicken wings were definitely worth queuing for.
The auntie was rather friendly and helpful, which is always a plus point to enjoy our meals. We took the liberty to note down some of their food item prices, which majority of other similar stalls do not.
Noodles, kuay teow, beehoon : $1.10 for normal size, while $1.40 for upsize
Chicken Wing : $1.50
Otah : $1.40
Taiwan Sausage : $1.30
Wu Xiang : $1.20

Eng Kee Chicken Wings are delicious and addictive, and one will certainly not satisfy your fried chicken craving. Do try them out!
