What better ways to cool down in Singapore’s scorching weather than Mr Coconut’s coconut shake.
We observed that they added icecream (probably coconut flavour), coconut jelly, coconut flesh, syrup (you can choose the level, same as bubble tea), ice and blended.
The result was a smooth creamy refreshing ice coconut shake.
Such a concoction commanded a snakey queue during dinner time with at least 20 pax. And that was just for placing your order. It took us about 20minutes to reach the ordering station. Another 25mins to wait for our drinks.
We got our drinks at 50% sugar level. But even at 50%, it was still quite sweet. If you fancy a healthier version, you can probably get it at a lower level or even no syrup.
The staff were amazingly patient and friendly while taking our orders and explaining to some customers on various queries. We got their medium sized coconut shake $4.40, while they have it in large size at $5.40.
Refreshing and cooling, Mr Coconut’s coconut shake is definitely a great alternative to the usual bubble tea.
