What to eat at Columbus Coffee at Upper Thomson besides getting a cuppa? We tried out their carbonara and wasn’t disappointed.
Topped with a healthy dose of grated parmesan cheese, it had a gorgeous aroma as it was served. Delicately thrown into the mix were juicy crunchy shimeji mushrooms and smokey tender bacon. Cream sauce was infused with richness from the bacon and mushroom, creating a memorable and intense flavour. You can’t be excessive with greatness, especially with such a beautifully created dish. Hence, an egg yolk was added in the middle to add the silky smooth and allluring carbonara.

Service was as usual fast and awesomely friendly, with a cozy and relaxing ambience. Price was somewhat steep at $22 an order. But if you can’t cook up such an amazing dish, you just gotta pay someone to do it. Portion was ample although they have changed their plate sizes to slightly small ones.
Quality of Columbus Coffee’s carbonara was outstanding with amazing service provided. Definitely recommended.
