Chye Lye Ah Ma Mee Sua at Kampung Admiralty Hawker Centre is one of our favourites whenever we are the vicinity. Especially on a cold rainy day, a $4 bowl of Ah Ma Mee Sua will no doubt warm up your butts.
From the picture, you can see there are a bunch of coriander floating around. For those who treats coriander like “poison”and avoid them at all cost, remember to ask for none to be added. But it really lifts the flavour of the already awesome soup, together with the added Hua Diao Jiu, it will create an explosion in your mouth, and warms your soul as it goes down your throat.
The other highlight is the soft, handmade porkballs. We won’t pretend as if we know their secret of such heavenly balls, but just shout out how amazing they are. There are slices of pork liver, stewed mushrooms, and meatballs.
The mee sua noodles were firm yet soft (contradicting, but it really is!), not clumpy and easy to gouge down.
Looking back at these saliva inducing images makes us want to go back the next day for more.
