Graced by Gordon Ramsay back in 2013, Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice at Maxwell Market is famous among foodies in Singapore and one British man. This is what YumzYumz’s food review of their chicken rice.
Their chicken was smooth, somewhat tender, moist, but almost tasteless if not for their aromatic sauce drizzled on.
Their rice was puffy, grainy and exceptionally tasty and fragrant with garlic and ginger.
Pricing are at $3.50 for a small plate which we got, $5 for medium size and $7.80 for large. Half a chicken for $12 and a whole chicken for $24.
The chili sauce was decent and pairs well with the rice and delicately made chicken.
At that pricing, in the heart of Singapore CBD area and offering tasty chicken rice, it is no wonder it’s business is forever busy and a household name for many.
