Fairly new stall at Kovan hawker centre, Three Brothers stall caught our attention with their modern black signage. We tried out their wanton noodles for this food review.

Slightly wet version of wanton noodles with a savoury sauce mix, noodles were pale in color compared to other stalls. But with the lack in color, they made it up with a deep flavour, noodles coated with pork lard, not overtly greasy, but sufficient to deliver the needed punch. It was perhaps in similar terms on what you would get across the causeway. Lovely. Char siew slices were tender and savoury, sweet and chewy. For $4 a plate, we got a fair amount of char siew, 2 fried wantons which were mundane, as well as two plump regular wantons that served its purpose. Overall, its sauce mix was the highlight that definitely warrants its namesake of wanton noodles.

Three Brothers’s wanton noodles’ quality was great with a fair amount of quantity. If you are wondering what to eat at Kovan, do consider the Three Brothers.
