After Spice and Rice’s beef rendang stew, YumzYumz tried out their butter chicken croquettes nasi lemak, and here is what we thought of it.
Aside from the usual fried egg, spicy sweet sambal chili, crunchy ikan bilis and nicely roasted peanuts, there were 2 huge fried balls which in no way could be seen as a chicken item.
Upon cutting it up its crispy crusty crust, out spilled gooey and aromatic pulled chicken. It was as if its fillings were waiting to burst out. Buttery and sweet, the was absolutely tenderlicious and savoury, elevating their almost tasteless basmati rice with rich and fragrant flavour.
At $7.90 a bowl, Spice and Rice’s hand rolled croquettes filled with butter chicken is definitely unique and tasty
