Pizza Hut recently launched a bizarre creation, and they named it Bubble Tea Blossom Pizza. As the name suggest, it consist of bubble tea pearls on Pizza Hut’s fluffy cheesy stuff crust pizza.
Found on other news outlets, Pizza Hut came up with this weird combination as they wanted to “unite two of the country’s favourite food cravings – Pizza and Bubble Tea”.
It is available in three sizes, Personal Pan, Regular and Large. Prices start from $11.80 for a single-pax Boba Set, which comes with a side and drink.
Let’s start off with the pizza crust itself. It was fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside, mozzarella cheese within the stuff crust was gooey and nice. Overall, it was what we expected from Pizza Hut. Now comes the bubble tea pearls.
They were soft, sweet, not chewy and almost melts in the mouth. Was it weird? Definitely…. And with the marshmallow added, a whole new level of weirdness was made, creating an abominable mess, messing up what one would perceive as normal pizza.
As if adding pineapples to pizza wasn’t bad enough, pizza now got tapioca balls added to it. We just hope Italians won’t get offended by this abysmal freak show.
