Craving for some smoky barbeque chicken wings, we tried out Kang’s BBQ at East Coast Lagoon Food Village for this food review.
At Kang’s BBQ, they have a buzzer queue system, so no need for us to wait at the stall, unlike some other stalls. But the auntie manning the front was in a fiery mood when it got to our turn… but still ain’t rude, just sounded irritated ^^.
It took about 20minutes till we got buzzed for our barbeque chicken wings fix.
Skin and crust were beautifully charred, savoury, not artificially sweetened and yuumiliciously glazed. The flesh on the inside were tender and tasty, but somewhat overly greasy. But then, we can’t be expecting healthy non-oily chicken wings when we are talking about bbq chicken wings! Chili sauce were watery but packed a powerful punch, spicy and almost like chicken rice chili sauce.
Priced at $1.50 per piece, with a minimum order of 3 pieces, Kang’s BBQ chicken wings were definitely yummy, and will surely cure anyone’s bbq chicken wings craving.
