What to eat at Plaza Singapura for fast food, besides Mcdonalds, KFC? YumzYumz tried out Five Guys’ bacon cheeseburger, and here is our food review of it.
Their hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger, and bacon cheeseburger were all double patties by default. If you want a single patty, it will be their little hamburger, little cheeseburger, and so on.
Each burger has the option of 15 types of “free” toppings from these selections.
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Onions
- Ketchup

- Mayo
- Pickles

We went with grilled mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and frankly, they really didn’t matter much. What mattered was their beef patty and bun. Beef was greasy and juicy and finger licking good. Buns were grilled to a crisp and caramelized, soaking up all the grease from the patties. Was it a game changer? Probably not, but definitely pumps up the heart rate.
We got a large order of fries, in cajun style, and stated on the menu clearly, cooked in peanut oil. So don’t point fingers if you are allergic to peanuts. A large order was $11, and quite honestly, it was a huge tub. Cajun style means a spicy zesty powder coating over the fries, and was mildly spicy.
Finally, we got a salted caramel milk shake at $10. It was EXTREMELY THICK, creamy of course, and brutally sweet.
With a bacon cheese burger at $17, a large fries and a milk shake, adding up to $38 a meal, it was definitely an expensive meal, with greasy, sweet and bloating.
Thankfully, their staff were all really friendly and helpful, from the counter to the floor. They were delightfully cheerful and eager to assist when we needed help.
