What to eat at Fusionopolis? Or are you thinking of what nice Japanese food to eat? So did we and so who tried out JINHO shokudo and bar’s asari batayaki with rice for this food review.
Asari Batayaki or Japanese style stir fried clams and finished with butter (Bata? ^^) was surprisingly delish and comforting. It had tons of minced garlic added, a touch of chili for the subtle and needed heat, tummy and soul warming sake added, dashi and parsley to complete this amazingly satisfying dish. The clams were fresh tasting, and the added ingredients elevated it tremendously. Soup was rich and vibrant, bursting with flavours. Married with their fluffy and steamy Japanese short grain rice, it was a lovely lunch. Taking into account their friendly and cozy ambience, $15 was rather acceptable although alittle steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our meal tremendously.
